Upright meaning
Kenaz is your creativity and clarity rune. If you've been feeling confused or stuck, things are starting to get clearer. Think of it like switching the lights on in a dark room — you can suddenly see what's actually there.
This is a brilliant time for any kind of creative work. Writing, making, designing, problem-solving — whatever you've been working on, bring your full focus and skills to it. You're in the zone.
Kenaz is also about warmth and genuine connection — the kind of light that comes from really seeing someone and being seen. A relationship might be deepening in a meaningful way right now.
Just don't burn everything down in the process — use your energy with intention.
Reversed meaning
Reversed Kenaz means the inspiration has gone quiet. You might be feeling uninspired, blocked, or just foggy — like you can't quite see what you're doing or why.
Don't force it. Rest, step back, and give yourself permission to recharge. You can't run on empty.
There's also a chance something that was hidden is about to come to light — not necessarily something you wanted revealed. Either way, look honestly at what's showing up. It's useful information even if it's uncomfortable.
