Upright meaning
Ehwaz is your partnership rune. Something important in your life right now involves working with someone else — a colleague, a partner, a friend, a team. And this rune says: that collaboration can genuinely work, but only if both people are pulling in the same direction and actually trust each other.
Neither person gets to dominate. Neither person just goes along for the ride. It's got to be mutual.
Things are moving forward. There's momentum available. Work with the people around you and you'll go further than you would alone.
Reversed meaning
Reversed Ehwaz is a sign that something's gone off in a partnership. Maybe one person is carrying more than their fair share. Maybe there's been a breakdown in trust or communication that hasn't been properly addressed.
Things might feel stalled or frustrating as a result.
Ask yourself honestly: is this relationship or collaboration actually mutual? Is there something that needs to be said that hasn't been said yet? Get it out in the open — the longer you leave it, the worse it gets.
