Upright meaning
Berkano is a lovely rune to draw — it's all about new life and fresh starts. Something new is beginning, and it needs your care and attention to grow.
This could be a literal new start — a baby, a new project, a relationship in its early stages — or something subtler, like a new phase of life or a new way of seeing yourself.
Whatever it is, it's fragile right now. Don't force it or rush it. Just show up consistently and take care of it. Small, steady efforts are what's needed here, not big dramatic gestures.
Feed it well and it'll grow.
Reversed meaning
Reversed Berkano suggests something new in your life isn't getting what it needs. Either you're neglecting it — not giving it enough time or attention — or you're smothering it with too much control and not letting it breathe.
There could also be a health concern worth paying attention to, or something at an early stage that needs more honest care.
Ask yourself genuinely: is what I'm trying to grow actually getting what it needs from me?
